There is a new airline that has a direct flight from Lansing to Las Vegas. Introductory round trip is $216. Go to www.allegiantair.com for details. Seems the Lansing airport is giving incentives for airlines to fly from there and Las Vegas is the second most destination in that area (Orlando is number one). No more Detroit layover, no changing in Minneapolis.....4 straight hours and you are there, or here as in my case!! I'm going back to experience "green claustrophobia" in August.
