If I get at least 18 other people
interested, I'll get back to you with possible dates. I was thinking
we'd sit in the Field area for $12, but if you think cheaper seats
would be better include that in your reply. I think it would be great
to see vpFREE on the Cashman Field Scoreboard!

I'm a big 51's fan and a member of the Boosters.. ask me about it, anyone,
if you're interested. I'll join if you get Field seats.. I hate the cheaper
ones. And, by the way, you can get a decent meal for very little (last year
$7.50 and 10% senior discount) in the upstairs dining room. If we have a big
enough group, we could ask for a private room with big round tables. You can
watch from there if it's too hot until it cools off outside (assuming
summer) and it's very nice altogether.

anyone,

My husband and I are officers in the Buffalo Bisons (AAA
International League) Boosters, in fact I'm a founding member.
Unfortunately we cannot be in LV in April to attend a 51's game. Our
first home game is April 11. I'd be willing to bet it will be a lot
warmer there than it will be here. We still have snow on the ground
and may get more before the weekend is over.

In 1998 we traveled to Vegas for the AAA World Series at Cashman
Field because our Bisons were in it versus the PCL New Orleans
Zephyrs. Unfortunately the Bisons lost, but that trip was what
started our Vegas addiction. I guess they have revived the concept
of an inter-league championship with the Bricktown Showdown in
Oklahoma City to be played on September 16th pitting the IL winners
versus the PCL champs. Right now we are scheduled to be in Las Vegas
Sept. 11-22, but we may have to change that if the Bisons have a
chance to make the championship game.

Karen, if you have an address for the 51's boosters, we would be
happy to put them on our mailing list. We put out a newsletter about
8 times a year and your club may be interested in what our club
does. And if the 51's boosters have anything similar, we would be
interested in that. Please send me a private email or give my email
address to the person in your boosters who might be interested.

Thanks,
Pam
