Yes fellow vpFREE members in good standing, it's that time of year again.
Again, Bob Dancer will foot all of the expense for the extravaganza being held
at Joseph Husband Of Mary Catholic Church located at 7260 W Sahara, Las Vegas
89117 December 22nd at 8pm
The food arrangements will be changed slightly. As you remember, last years
service had a pot luck buffet following. This year Bob has arranged for a
catered Bellagio dinner buffet.
Due to problems at last years service Bob has made arrangements for a
special three officer unit of Metro police to be stationed inside the sanctuary.
The same orchestra and chorus will again perform Handel's Messiah but this year
with special vpFREE lyrics. The orchestra conductor insisted on a chicken
wire fence to separate his group from our group. Just like the casino players
clubs say, "You asked and we heard." However, to make sure there is no repeat
of last year's problem all concert goers will be searched for EV saving food
bags.
Again this year we are so fortunate to have Mickey Crimm demonstrating Three
Card Monty in the lobby from 7:30 until 7:50. Come early as it's fun.
