I alway fly Southwest(no class) whenever possible. No class struggle.

I am a very frequent flyer. On average, I fly 60,000 to 80,000
miles each year. At various times I fly coach, business class and
first class.
I always use the John that is CLOSEST to my seat. That's what makes
sense to me.
When I am in first or business class, I couldn't care less about who
is using the John. I'm too busy worrying that the mechanics, who
are forever threatening work stoppages, have screwed the wing nuts
and bolts on tightly!
For "security reasons", in this post-2001 era, The first and
business class curtains can no longer be used to close off those
cabins. At least this is the case with my "hometown airline",
United. Since the curtains are kept tied back, passengers feel free
to wander between cabins, at will.
Sometimes flight attendants will announce, prior to takeoff, that
you are only permitted to be in your "ticketed" cabin. That
announcement is usually enough to convince passengers to "obey the
rules". Often, however, nothing is said.
On occasion, flight attendants will forbid coach passengers to enter
first class cabins. They can be very firm, even intimidating, in
issuing this directive. Unless you want the police waiting for you
at your destination, it's best to heed the advice of the crew. They
are most definitely in charge when you are airborn.
Despite the fact that I am usually sitting in the front of the
plane, were I in charge, I would lean towards being a little more
Democratic.
Just my opinion, of course.
