That one sent me "googling", Jean:

Speaking of googling, did you all know you can see Area 51 on Google.Earth?
Start with a wide view of Las Vegas, pan due northwest until you come to the
Lincoln County line [have check in borders box] Pan north along the east
side of the boundary. The first white splotch you see is Lake Papoose, said to
be Area S4's location, flying saucers, little guys with large heads. I don't
quite believe in that one, however I remember stopping for donuts at 4am at a
Las Vegas donut shop where guys were waiting to be picked up by a bus for
work. The bus had "S4" on the side. I understand they went to McCarran to board
a plane. There is a sprawling possible S4 base s/w of Papoose Dry Lake but
it's the 90ft defination so not much is visible

Continue north and the bigger white splotch is Groom Lake. Even from far up
you can make out the runways. One of the runways is the worlds longest, used
to test the U2 Spyplane. Zoom in and you see the base clear as a bell, [clear
as an Art Bell] Pan due west and you see Frenchman Flat and Jackass Flat, the
valleys used for all the above and below ground atomic testing. The largest
hole as you start to zoom in is the main detonation of Operation Plow Share,
a scheme to use a nuke to see if earth could be moved quickly for
construction purposes. Downside of that was, sure, a crater 1300ft wide by 300ft deep
was gouged out but too contaminated to get near. If you search on Google photos
you can see recent pics of Frenchman Flat from ground level. I understand
they have semi public tours of the area. West of Frenchman Flat is the Yucca
Mountain project. Be careful looking at any Google photo links on any subject
as you can instantly get a Worm or Trojan virus. My checker instantly caught
some but it's scary. What's also scary is Google photos has a pic of a
mushroom cloud as seen from Glitter Gulch. If you lay down Google.Earth at downtown
and approximate the direction then pan north 90 miles, bingo, Frenchman Flat,
the main Nevada Test Site. I remember staying at the Fremont Hotel in the
early 70's and seeing on the TV news a report of buildings shaking in downtown
Vegas because of an underground test. The odd thing about both the Test Site
and Area 51 is the photo is enhanced to 15 feet definition not 90 feet as is
must rural areas. They say Area 51 has been moved to New Jersey but I think
that rumor is for stand up comedians to work with. BTW, there's an Atomic
Test Museum just east of Terrible's on Flamingo. If you are as nutty as me that
is.

On a more plain vanilla scope, in Vegas on Google.Earth you can see the
Sultan of Bruni's summer home at the s/w corner of Spanish Trail
[Durango/Hacienda] and his stables on Tomiyasu, on the east side of the street about one
block north of Warm Springs. To build both house and stables he bought several
mansion sites. I understand the Sultan has twenty wives so that must mean he
needed to buy twenty Tough Sheds.

p.s. Just east of the Sultan's Stables on Tomiyasu is Tony Marnel's home. He
was the builder of the Rio Hotel. North of the stables is Gary Primm's home.
Gladys Knight lives in the complex south of the stables. Robert Goulet is on
the other side of Tomiyasu in that complex. I know all this cuz I used to
have a job that took me all over the area. Mike Tyson could be seen jogging with
his body guard following in a blue Montero. Sometimes Mike would turn in a
direction against traffic and the guard would have to go through conniptions
to try and keep up. Tyson's square property, with the illegal twelve foot
wall is easily visible at the s/w corner of the Wayne Newton property [n/e
corner of Sunset/Pecos.
