Last October we tried the East Cannery for Sunday brunch. It was by far
much better than the M.
Everyone has different tastes but everything at the Cannery just tasted
good. A much smaller
selection than most brunches.

I lost track of the original poster who had a great experience at the upstairs Granny's (olden days), then a crappy time downstairs in the coffee shop at the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall?
Are you looking for a nice experience in Laughlin or southern Nevada? Others have assumed Southern Nevada.
The Golden Nugget-Laughlin currently features a Sunday buffet, you know the joint next door to the Pioneer. Instead of the old Jane's Grill, the Landry's owned Harlow's tries to duplicate the historic experience of a over the top traditional Golden Nugget Sunday Buffet.
I have not done it, but it looks good. They used to do three seatings...not sure about that currently. They extend the restaurant out into the foyer that encompasses the main tropical entrance just like the olden' days of MGM/Mirage ownership. So with proper execution, you can sit next to a waterfall, enjoy the crystal and linen. I do not have feedback about the food.
In the olden days I could enjoy covering the tab with comps for a special event at GN-L. Now I just just stay next door.
