X VP----internet poker vs casino poker

Having played live poker in casinos and on the internet, I find it much easier to play profitably online. But if you don't play smart, you won't be profitable anywhere you play.

Seems like you can always find a good game online and you can play many more hands per hour online than in casinos. I have not personally felt I was ever being cheated online.

Hope that helps.

I have limited experience playing both. I'm curious about
which this group feels is more difficult to play
profitably.

On the internet there are always concerns about collusion
and how prevalent it is. Also I have to believe a lot of
the survivors of the last few years are the people who play
most profitably, making the competition very stiff.

Poker in casinos seems like it is a bit easier, but there
are still a lot of competent veterans there. Then the rake
of 10%, maximum of $4.00, is a huge factor that is tough to
beat.

Overall I think the odds are long against winning for the
average guy. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
