Wynn

My wife and I got to play there yesterday. We both got seats and only
because one was openm and another player left/ We played approx 1.5
hours ($5400-$6000) coin in. There was an open seat frequently.
One list member was there playing quarters, one other whose face
seemed familiar, but someone I don't know. and the open one,
frequently filled and emptied.

When I had been there earlier in the day, on the 2 banks, (9
machines), I recognized 4 pros and 5 "live" seats.

No one was waiting.
I think that the thrill is gone, several have been asked NOT to play
and the rest seem to be playing for shorter periods of time. This was
our first visit to the casino. The only thing that really got me was
the long line to see the autos. You would think that they could do
that at home and not waste vacation time to see overpriced fancy cars.

I have two questions (thanks Elliott, you reminded me):

1. These "machines" we've all been quacking about--are they slow, or
can you adjust the speed?

2. Is Wynn charging $$ for admission into the car dealership? They
had talked about it at one point after opening.

Thanks!

The ability to adjust the speed of the game was
disabled. They were set to play slower then the
fastest speed but not to be unbearable.

dealership? They

Last I had heard they stop charging an admission fee.

Initially admission was free. When the ploppies flocked to the dealer
in droves, it prevented the salesforce from actually selling any cars.

Wynn reacted by charging an admission price (not sure what it was,
guessing $15). The ploppies squawked and traffic at the dealership
ground to a halt.

The latest is admission is free with a purchase from the (woefully
overpriced) Ferrari giftshop.
