Sorry! Even though I credited both yahoo and drudge, I'm sure I was in
the wrong. I should have just posted the link and not the text and the
link.

Interesting how this comes on the heals of the discovery that Wynn has
downgraded a bunch of their VP games. I wonder if they have also
downgraded Slots, Table games and Comps. Hopefully they don't
downgrade the buffet!!!

The Wynn must really be needing guests. My son is on his way to Vegas
right now to go to a convention and he is staying at the Wynn on a 3-
night free room offer which he received unsolicited in the mail last
Friday. The offer was for 3-nights with no restrictions or blackout
dates. I don't remember the exact dates, but I think it was good for
several months. He is not a big gambler at all, and has never set foot
in the Wynn. The only thing that he can think of as to how he got on
the mailing list might be because he did play in a couple of WSOP
events last year. He is looking foirward to playing some poker at the
Wynn though.

Yes, Wynn offers have been VERY juicy recently. Last time I was in Vegas
was about 6 weeks ago when my GF and I got a Wynn offer for 3 free nights
even over a *weekend*, which almost never happens to us (I'm in their system
but we're not big-time players). A room upgrade was given to us for just a
$20 tip to the desk. We gave them some play but nowhere near enough to
justify the room (it was very small play). No problems on check-out, room
was completely free and I'm still getting free room offers from both Wynn
and Encore (not weekends though).
