Wynn publicity

If I were win I would just put up a lot of billboards:

"Win at Wynn!

or "Winners play at Wynn!"

psychologically nothing can beat that.

And maybe

"You are winning...
      at Wynn"

(play on You are fired)

I guess the possibilities are endless.

Maybe he put those FP deuces in just to have some people wandering around
the casino saying -- I won money here. It never hurts. The surprise is that
they go to dollars.

How about them giving all dollar RF winners on those machines a
T-shirt that reads "I won a jackpot on the best video poker machines
in Las Vegas"?

well it is puzzling they don't clearly mark the 100% pay machines for
the free advertising...putting these signs up in a couple places gives
the impression the whole casino is loose...at least to the tourist
type gambler...

It's only puzzling if one believes WYNN is doing this for publicity. After reading John's note yesterday, I had very little doubt left that it is definitely not being done for that purpose (otherwise it would probably have been a marketing person and not a tech that says "It's a beautiful thing").

Truly ... in fact, in AC we have a casino right now with a huge
billboard exclaiming that they have 95% payback slots (marked machines
only).

I have little doubt that this has many more than a few players
flocking to them (written with an entirely straight face).

Upon further consideration I can't help but wonder if, having taken in
the cadre of players on the bank, if there may have been more than a
hint of sarcasm in this observation.

(No offense, John ...)
