Wynn play for locals (was should I become a local)

Wynn play of $560K or whatever it was should do you a lot more than that.
First, you must give a local address and an E-MAIL ADDRESS. You should get a
notice via email of how much extra locals free play you get. This is based
on your play for a 3-month average. (See below)

If you failed to give an email address, you might not be getting notice of
the free play you earned, which must be taken Mon-Thurs. You need to check
with a host or the Red Card Club.

Also, your points will give you comps from either the Red Card Club (they
generally can comp only buffets or coffee shop) or host. Check with a host in
the high limit area (if none is available, ask for a host to be sent). With
that much play they should be able to comp for a gourmet meal and/or show
tickets, I suspect.

However, note that Wynn gives far more comps and free play for Vegas locals
playing reel slot machines. Reelers get cashback every week, VP players get
every other week. Also levels are much higher for VP play.

For example:

If you play say 1000 points on a reel machine ($3000 coin in) for 1 month in
March, in April or May (there may be a bit of a lag for the first email
notice), you will be seen as a 333 point average and get $25 per week for a
month. If you play 2000 points in April, your average for the next period will
now be 1000 points (1000 + 2000 divided by 3), and you will get $75 per week.
(This is for reels only, not VP).

By my calculations if you put in $560K during one visit at VP, that is about
6222 points ($9 in for a point at VP), which gives you a 3-mo average of
about 2074 points, which would give you $75 extra free play every other week.
If you did continue to play 6222 points for 1 visit on each of 3 months, at
the end you would have a 3-mo average of 6222 points and get $100 every other
week in free play.

The best deal is if you play a meagerly 10 to 199 points at Wynn on reels
every month, you get $10 a week in bonus free play, once this is your 3-mo
average that is. That could mean extra cashback of between 6 to 133%. If you
have a 3 mo average of 200 points ($600) at reels, you start getting $25 a
week, which I get equals 16% cashback. At higher levels of play the cashback is
lower, but often is around 5%, which is why I've been playing reels at Wynn.
Plus you get all sorts of good food comps.

At VP, if you play 300 points ($2700 coin in) you get $30 every other week,
which is still a decent 2.2% on average. If you play more the overall
average extra bonus cash percentage decreases, but still can be over half a
percent. (As noted, VP players seem to get extra cash every other week, versus
every week for reel players).

Note, if you play a mixture of VP and reels, you seem to get only 1 cashback
offer, whichever is the higher amount.

You also get some free play on the machine as you play.

The above is for a Vegas Locals address only, and you must give an email
address.

While the Wynn is happier about comping and giving free play to those
playing reels, high level VP players will also get good treatment from the hosts.
I have a friend who got a lot of Spamalot tickets and gourmet meals by
playing $1 spinpoker. My host there is one of the best and nicest I've had in Las
Vegas.

Thanks for the tip. I don't believe I ever gave them my e-mail. I did
contact Carol Bosshart in early April after noticing a lack of mailers,
and she invited me to some events in early June, July, and August, but
never mentioned anything about free-play e-mails. I thought that after
talking to her, things would start arriving in the mail, but nothing
ever came. I guess now I know why. I'll have to stop in and give them
my e-mail and see if that gets the ball rolling.

Thanks again for the info. It is very much appreciated.
