Yesterday I received an e-mail offer from Wynn for $125,000 slot
tournament Nov 13 - 15 with 3 comped nights Thursday thru Sunday.
Last time I played there was 2 years ago. Went there last year
and asked for a buffet based on 10 hours $1 previously. They
consulted with a host and I was denied. Left without playing and
back to my Sam's Town where I was appreciated.
Agree with this. A couple of years I go, I had to lose into the multiple
thousands at BJ before they would even consider a comp buffet. But last
month I spent 2 nights (on the weekend!) with my GF for a grand total of $0
at Wynn. Something is definitely going on over there . . .

Well yea...all of Vegas is hurting right now. Add to that that Wynn has
Encore coming online while the industry is in the dumpster.
It sounds like they're doing whatever they can to fill the tower in the
hopes of filling the tables and putting butts in the seats in front of
the slots. I suspect this will continue until after the Encore opens,
because then the nut they need to cover gets even bigger.

It's still amazing to me how 100% of the gambling joints had the "we
don't need the customer" style of management. Guess what? They still
