Wynn locals promotion - new information

Apparenly Wynn's locals promotion is still in flux, and the numbers I posted
last month are not correct. Also the accrual period now seems to be month
to month (within a month). Reel promotions are more generous than VP
promotions (if any).

For reels, for March, for example, apparently you needed levels something
like this for play in Feb.
1000-2500 - $75
2500-5999 points = $100
6000-9999 points - $200
10000-13999 - $300
14000-29999 - $500
30000 & up - $1000

Amounts of Free Credit per week then were given for March 19 to April 12
based on total play during Feb. (It takes $3 to earn a point with reels, $9 to
earn a point for VP.)

I was told wrong information by a host back in Feb., and as a result my
14,000 in points played got split between Feb. and March, so I am getting $100 a
week in March., and $300 in April - instead of the $500 I expected for Feb.
(that is, assuming they do give out Freecredit in April based on the above
levels)

Some people may be getting free play only every other week (this for VP
players I think). Other locals may be getting no free play for unknown reasons
(this happened to a friend of mine who had over 1000 points in Feb. for $1
reels).

Persons with questions on the Locals FreeCredit promotion can try contacting:

Tom McMahon's office - 770-3050 (they were too busy to talk to me)

or
Director of Slot Marketing, Peter Landi via email:
_Pete.Landi@wynnlasvegas.com_ (mailto:Pete.La…@…com)

I was told that they have not settled on what will happen for April, so
there is no way to say what levels of play will give what FreeCredit, if any.

Also, they may go to a 3 month average or some other method of determining
Free Credit.

I also am not sure what happens if you play both VP and Reels.

Until this program settles down, I cannot really recommend playing there for
FreeCredit bonuses. However, if you want to take a chance, they possibly
can be a nice bonus.

Wynn has a good variety of reels and a lot of 9/6 JB. I've hit several top
jackpots on reels there. If you like reels, I recommend Pinball and Top
Dollar or Double Top Dollar, which in general are decent machines -- and the
bonus features make them more interesting than some reels. If you are just a VP
player, you probably will do better looking elsewhere for good promotions.
