Why do we put up with this treatment? An ethical, customer service sensitive
casino would give its customers notice when they are discontinueing a "perk"
and at least honor the "play" to that date.
Recently I reported that the Binions failed to send any bounceback for
January where the top level was anticipating a $800/month reward. In this case,
their November and now December play was for naught. Word has it that they will
send bounceback for February but who wants to trust such inconsistency by
putting through any more action with them.
As Misscraps reported some players were putting through very big handles to
reach the top tiers of $1000/week. Again, without notice, this rug was pulled
out from under them. At least with the Wynn, they operated month to month so
you lost but one month's action instead of two. Nonetheless, the hosts or
slot club personnel that actually spelled out the tier levels to reward, IMHO,
were soliciting play vs. rewards akin to a verbal contract.
I agree that each casino has the option of cancelling any promo but in these
foregoing cases, honor the play up to your date of notice. That would mean,
one more month for the Wynn bounceback and two more months for Binions. Of
course, notices would be posted that after the given date, these promos were
ended.
I am not a big player but even in my case, the two months at Binions ($800 +
$800) and one month at Wynns ($300) is a loss of anticipated bounceback
monies that is significant.
Remember , of late, many of us are playing "negative" games factoring in the
bounceback rewards which then make the overall play "positive". When these
bounceback rewards become a big question mark (?), then the available plays are
widely reduced.
Since these incidents, I have yet to even one more dollar at either Binions
or Wynns. What other means of protest do we have?
