We'd previously been told that after playing the initial 500 points to get
the 2 buffets (50 points on Mon-Friday) and 2 more buffets (at 500 points), you
would then need 750 points for each additional buffet. My husband then
played 2000 points on FP DDB (10/6) on the "good" machines. When we went to get
2 more buffets we were told that comps accrue slower for Full Pay Video
Poker -- and that 2000 points was actually slightly less than needed for 1
buffet, but they would give us 1 buffet. We went to a host (they have more
flexibility) who said he could understand this was confusing, so he did give us 2
buffets, but he also said comps are lower for FP games.
Presumably 9/6 JB might not be counted as FP - or maybe it is, but pretty
definitely the 4 "good" machines are noted as FP.
I'm pretty sure that on the regular $1 9/6 JB machines it took $10 for 1
point. I'm not sure how much play on the FP machines equaled a point.
Presumably play on "reels" might accumulate comps even faster than any Video
Poker.
Meanwhile, it still seems that getting the 500 points and 4 buffets M-F is
still an excellent deal for new signups.
I do wonder if anyone has received invitations to events at the Wynn such as
slot tournaments? If so - for what sort of play.
The rooms at the Wynn are very nice with a flat screen TV, big fluffy bed
with those nice comforters and linens, small couch, internet hookup with printer
(at extra charge), and very good views on higher floors. Amenities also
included bathrobes and slippers (you are charged if you take them home) and good
toiletries. Bathroom had bath and shower and decor was very nice. I liked
the room better than the Venetian suite -- though that one actually is
larger (I don't like the step down to the living room there, and the bed was more
comfortable at the Wynn).
