Wynn: Caution for new signups

I just went to the Palms to get a card (had one but hadn't been there in a
year) and she asked for my ID and then ran it through a scanner. I got mad and
told her that she had no business copying my DL without my permission. The
boothling just sat there and didn't say anything. I left.

Casino Royale has been scanning photo ID's for years. When you go to get
a comp at the slot club you don't have to show your ID as they pull up
you photo on their computer. My photo on file is about 15 years old from
my previous Florida Driver's License so they frequently do a double take.
Recently they asked if I wanted to supply a new photo for file to which
I replied "No" since Casino Royale is very local unfriendly and my
current ID has a Las Vegas address. I don't know if you have a choice
when you initially sign-up.
