The Palms also scans your ID upon signup. I suppose you can refuse, and have
them enter all info manually. They also take your photo and put it on the
Hall of Fame and MVP level club cards, if you so desire, for in-house ID
without having to pull out your driver's license each time you use your points. Not
sure if they offer this to lower levels of club membership. The photo
remains in the computer, so if you lose your card they can give you a replacement
without taking another photo. For those folks who don't trust casinos, keep in
mind that Surveillance could always isolate your image and produce a high
quality photograph of you if they so desired. I believe that it is best to not
EVER give them a reason to do so! Maybe all you card counters out there
should wear one of those huge straw hats...

Cautionary Note: Unless you specifically tell the player's club clerk
in advance of handing her your ID to get a player's card, your ID will
be scanned into Wynn's system. Scanning is not mandatory, but if the
patron doesn't ask, they're not told. Sneaky and disappointing. This
procedure does not comport with Wynn's classy image.

No slot clubs actually take a scan of your PHOTO. If Wynn decides to
86 advantage VP players, they now have your photo.
They could then share your photo with other casinos or the sleazy
Griffin Investigations. If they share it with Griffin, you'll
automatically be lumped with cheats and other thieves. Griffin
already maintains a database of all LEGITIMATE jackpot winners,
including their name and SSN's.

BJ players can empathize with the need for anonymity....
