Wynn Bufets

After a long conversation at the Red Desk yesterday, we were told that if you are not staying
at Wynn's, your "play" continually adds buffets (at 750 points per buffet) as long as there is
not a 72 hour gap in your play.

On a related matter, we were also told that you can make a buffet reservation (with a line
pass) for up to 24 hours in advance)

I am assuming you are referring to policy for out-of-towners?

The rule for locals (unless they have changed it within the last couple of months?) is your comps will stay in your account as long as you put some play on once a month. This, of course, only applies if you are not targeted as an "advantage player." If that case, you are cut off from all offers and sometimes (usually?) all your comps disappear immediately.

This seems to imply that your buffets do not stay on your account after
72 hours, which would confirm what others have been told about the
new "use it or lose it" policy. I guess I won't be taking guests to
the Wynn anymore.

Thanks for the clarification.

I am not sure about the "out of town" situation. That never came up. She simply asked us
if we were staying at Wynn's. Staying at Wynn's (or being a local) might put another slant
on things that I did not pursue. But she was quite strong in her comments about the 72
hours of "inactivity".
