Wrong Payout Listed

On a cruise I found a VP marked 9 for a FH that paid only 8. I
called the slot manager and slot tech. Told the mgr that I wanted
him to put in writing what he saw on my screen. He came back and
said he called another mgr on a different ship and was told not to
put anything in writing. I took photos of the machine, listed
payscale, my play and payout. The mgr refunded all money I put in
for that session, told me he would file a report and turned off the
machine.

I got the tech to go into the memory and we discovered that over
230,000 hands with over 2,000 FH wins had been played since the last
chip change.

So who do I contact now? No gaming commission for me to call in the
Caribbean Sea. Are cruise ship casinos regulated? This is a major
line and the ship is registered in the Bahamas.

If this were to happen in Vegas what action would the gaming
commission take? Hefty fine? Shut down until all machines were
checked?

Later in the week I found 2 VP machines listed at 7 for FH that
actually paid 8. These machines are not checked for accuracy,
mulitply this by all the ships in the fleet...oh boy how many
thousnads of dollars have passengers been cheated out of?

First of all, the title “Wrong Payout Listed” is quite an assumption. It
may well have been “Wrong Payout Given.” Second, only jurisdictions like
Nevada and New Jersey even pretend to regulate such malfeasance.

On a recent cruise I was told by a pit boss and many
of the dealers that they(Celebrity)are held to the
same rules and regulations as Nevada casinos.
I never did find out who exactly enforces these
rules,if anyone.
