Well you were wrong Quadzilla, today's paper published Harry Potter's letter
with a big headline "Locals casinos should watch their pay tables."
We will have to see if my letter shows up with a different take on it. No I
haven't received any acknowledgement.
I also recently wrote a really long letter to Rio about their
"Beventertainers" which also said that if they really want to bring in more
people they need to add promotions, increase cashback, and have better VP.
No acknowlegement either.
I also wrote to Orleans directly.
Letters can't hurt, but might help in these situations. Several years ago I
wrote Caesars about the lack of 9/6 JB in $1 machines - now the place is
covered with them, not to mention a bunch of quarter JB including Spin Poker.
At that time I received a nice letter back saying that they would be adding
more 9/6 JB, and by gosh, it took awhile, but they did.
Letters are much more effective than verbal comments you might make to slot
club personnel or hosts, they usually end up being read by higher management.
