Apparently it did if I read the followup correctly. I'll be reading the RJ
later to see that letter.

If a newspaper routinely refused to publish letters to the Editor based upon
advertising, I think it would reflect poorly on its policies and that would
become known in the community. Certainly in my experience, such letters have
been published.

Can anyone recall ever reading a letter or hearing one on TV critical of
department stores and automobile dealers?
