would you be suspect?

If you put $900.00 through a vp machine playing mostly DDB, with some DW and some BP Deluxe and got no 4OK how unusual would that be? BTW playing at the .50 level..Rod

I'd say that sounds like deja vu! 360 hands without a 4oak is a regular event. Now if it was 360 hands of DW that would be another thing

Just a regular day at the office for me .... 4 of a kind is a 1 in 425 hand
occurrence (on average) and at $2.50 per hand ($.50 * 5) you'd run $900
through in 360 hands.

I was playing Aces Bonus and didn't hit a oak for 4 hours and then it was sequential ACES!

But maybe you meant you LOST $900?

Your experience should be rare, but definitely not far enough out of line to suspect the game is gaffed.

If you play 2000 hands of DDB at $2.50 per hand, about 1% of the time you will lose $1300 or more. If you played really slowly (just 1200 hands in 1.5 hours) you would lose $900 about 1% of the time.

Going 1500 hands without quads happens about 3% of the time.

Come on. Since when is 800 hands/hour playing "really slowly"?!
I know there was a recent discussion about speed of play. But I maintain that 800 hands/hr represents a pretty solid pace for most players, even good players.

I would put the leisurely pace for most players closer to 500 hands/hr.

Since 1998, when decent VP machines started being installed. Remember the old Sigma machines that had to count all five coins going in?

I consider 1100 hands per hour a leisurely pace.

vprod618,

Over the past few weeks, I've played ~2000 hands of DDB 10/6 .25 and
lost -$496.75 (would be -$993 at 0.50).
Only 2 quads.

Just before this bad streak, I hit two Aces with kickers ($500). One
was my first hand upon sitting down!
I'm net +$700 on this bank of DDB 10/6 (one Royal & five Aces with
kickers), so the bank is playing ok.
