The World Series of Blackjack airs nationally on GSN (Game Show Network),
usually in two 1-hour shows back-to-back starting at 10PM Eastern on Mondays.
I do not find it boring at all, but then my opinion is a bit tainted because
I'm very busy studying all forms of tournament blackjack strategy. However,
even before my recent motivation appeared, I still enjoyed this show quite a
lot.
If you want to see how exciting this game can be, check out the Ultimate
Blackjack Tour on CBS (and I'll bet your cable system gets that channel). The
times for the rest of this month were posted recent here on vpFREE. There's some
kinks in the rules that make this variation much more TV-friendly than the
older forms of tournament blackjack, where most of the players just bet the
minimums until the last few hands. Can't do that on the UBT or you're dead meat.
If you like poker on TV, you really should give this a chance.

There was some discussion recently of the difficulty of making a World
Series of VP interesting. Well, my TV schedule last week referred to a
World Series of Black Jack show, on a 200+ channel I don't get.
Frankly, isn't it just as boring to watch a group playing Black Jack as
VP? Did anyone see this program, and if so, did they do anything to
make it interesting to watch?
