Well, I am at the Admiral's Club at Chicago's O'Hare airport doing a bit of
surfing. I am on my way to the south of France for 2 weeks. I will be trying
some of the video poker in Cannes, Nice, and Monte Carlo, in between
meetings. From what I remember last year, the pickings are not good at all.
They have lots of Joker Wild and JOB, none of which are even near to "full
pay". The best Deuces Wild seems to be 1,2,3,4,4,9,12,20,200,400, at the 1
Euro level. With a pay table like this, I know that I should not play, but, how
many times do you get to play at the Grand Casino at Monte Carlo. 
Hell!
You even have to pay, just to get into the darn place. Did James Bond ever
have to do that?
With video poker like they have in the south of France, the Las Vegas strip
and Atlantic City don't seem so bad. And, remember, there are no perks in
Cannes, Nice, and Monte Carlo, except for the topless beaches. But, the
beaches are not visible from inside the casinos.
OOOPS! I guess that was not PC. My apologie to all the girls. But, you know
how guys are. The devil makes us do it!
