I was there today Jan 1st 2009
All the new areas are open and the casino is not as crowded as it used
to be. I was there from 10-3 and played VP at the $1 level and .25
level this is my first report so please bear with me
Game king machines in the palace most have 8/5 7/5 or 6/5 at .25 & .05
level they still have 9/5 at dollar level "progressive" at the bar in
the marrachi area. This is all in the old casino
In the new area Rome
The bar area has 9/5 at quarter level and 8/5 at nickel level
and these machines are all around the bar with various pay table so
please check all machines as I did. All these numbers are for JOB
which is my game of choice
There were also some All american poker games with similar tables for
JOB on the outside of bar
I did not enter the high roller area to check this out. I plan on
returning in a few weeks and will post an update then.
I hit a few straights, several full houses, and many 3 of a kind;
however no royals or 4 of a kind at all. In all I was able to play
for a few hours and come home with what I started with.
