Is there an option in WinPoker or Frugal VP software to change the
Frequency or "Occurs every" setting?
For example:
In 4 5s-Ks in DDB occurs every 400 draws, is there an option to
change this settings so that they occur every 450 or 500 draws
instead?
WinPoker or Frugal VP --- is there an option to change Frequency
I'm not sure what you're really trying to do, but in winpoker
the "occurs every" value is output (not input) from using the correct
strategy.

You are right, Dick! This output (occurs every or frequency) is
probably controlled by some variable (i suspect but could be wrong
here) such as a "frequency factor" or something so that if it is set
to say "5", the 4-of-a-kind (5-K, for example) will most likely occur
every 500 draws/hands and when set to say "4" will occur more often
at every 400 draws rate.
I'm really hoping I'm completely wrong here 'coz if not, the casinos
can leave those Pay Schedules to show 100% when if fact the frequency
of winning hands can be reduced to cut that ER down (and you'll have
no clue why as the machines show only those Pay Schedules). :<
...just one of those horrible thoughts that hopefully is not True.

Gil,
In a Nevada certified machine, and reasonably expected in any
mainstream make machine anywhere, the initial deal and subsequent draw
are random events from the "deck" of cards in use. As such, the
expected frequency of various paying hands can be strictly determined
by player strategy.
There is no casino override that affects hand frequency on these machines.
When it comes to machines that aren't "fair", any number of techniques
might be used to alter the distribution of outcomes. However, I
expect that the mechanism that you suggest is reasonably close to that
implemented on the Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) video poker machines
in use at native American casinos in Washington State.
Software such as winpoker and frugal vp have made no attempt simulate
such machines ... there's little reason for them to do so.

Good point Harry!
I just wish that next time I play or watch others play those 10/6 DDB
vp machines at The Palms, that I'll see as many quads as there are in
the neighboring 9/6 DDB machines.
A few times already that I was there, I noticed that there are more
people playing the 9/6 DDB than the 10/6 DDB and they are right next
to each other. And who can blame them when you see them hitting more
quads than those playing the 10/6 DDB machines.
