I'd like to thank whomever for not calling it "Video Poker for Dummies."

There must be of VP for Dummies out there...right? Can I find it at Barnes &
Noble right next to the "Mensa Guide to Gambling"? I wonder how many Dan
Patrick books still exist on the local bookstore shelves?

Bob cut the cord on October 1st, according to Bob in a cordial fashion, with
Dean Zamzow. My four year old Winpoker 6.05 still puts out just fine.

Yes, there is a "Gambling For Dummies"; I gave it to my brother-in-law
for Christmas a couple of years ago. The Mensa Guide To Casino
Gambling, by the way, offers a pretty good chapter on VP, along with a
chart comparing the ER of various games to other casino options (BJ,
dice, etc.)

fine.

You mean John Patrick. I remember buying his tapes many years ago and
he said deuces wild was a losing game. There wasn`t much on the
market at that time and I thought he knew what he was talking about.
I shudder at all the "advice" he put out there.

This deviates from VP and is my first post to the group here, but I
have to say that the "Mensa" book has its points. It's not "the Bible"
on anything, but does give a pretty good introduction to Blackjack.
Most of the stated Strategy is sound though there are what I consider
some minor errors. I didn't study it for accuracy in VP so can't
comment much on it.

BTW...I am so looking forward to Winpoker 7.0 I've been using an
internet download called BVS and certainly am looking forward to a more
in depth treatment of VP that Winpoker 7.0 promises.
