Does anyone know the status of Winpoker 7.0, was this supposed to be
released awhile back? The session bankroll calculator seems like a
useful tool.

I don't know the answer to the first question. But there are two chapters in the new book "Frugal Video Poker" that discuss session bankroll and how you can use the software by the same name, "FVP," to give you a very good estimate of this. Both of these products can be ordered at the Web site below and at other online sites.

I wrote an email to the support address at zamzone.com asking this
exact question last January. I received a prompt reply that "due to
extenuating circumstances", they chose not to program a WinPoker 7.0.
There was no further elaboration in the reply email.

WinPoker 7.0 was announced about three years ago. Had it been
produced, I would still be representing WinPoker. But since Dean Zamzow
decided to stop programming, my relationship with WinPoker has ended
(amicably), and hopefully in early December, a new software called Video
Poker for Winners will be introduced. It has considerably more features
than WinPoker or any other currently available software, and it includes
a session bankroll calculator.
As the release date becomes firmed up, I'll be giving more
information on the product. It is currently in Beta testing.

Bob,
Thanks for the quick response, I'm eagerly waiting for this update as
6.0 is such a fine product. On a side note, I just read your Million
Dollar Video Poker book and your little side note on 7.0 is what got
me to thinking of this. Also, until I read this book I never knew that
"Bob Dancer" was just a pen name (its because you enjoy dancing), or
is this just a coincidence.
