Winnings & Losings

Guys,
                        LOSINGS

Been down at GT a few times in the past two weeks. On one
occasion, went through $600 faster than Jeff Gordon turns a lap at
Telladaga. I lost $200 on quarter Pick'Em in about an hour. Dropped
a hundred on 9/6 JB, Deuces Wild and Bonus Deuces in the next couple
of hours. Then finished out the day losing a $100 at da bar playing
Bonus Poker. I hate when that happens!

Dolores and I had a great, but expensive, comped dinner at Sweet
Georgia Brown's last week. If you get a chance to eat there, take
it, you won't be disappointed. They've got a super wine list also.

                        WINNINGS

The other two times at GT, I either won a little or stayed even.
BUT! I played in a Texas Hold'em poker tournament Saturday night and
won the thing. It was only for $500, but I did get some of my money
back.

For you guys who have cards at MGM, they are giving out calendars
from the 18th to the 24th of this month that contain some coupons.
I haven't seen them yet, but If they're anything like Greektown's,
they're worth picking up. Just show you card at the player's booth.

This month, I got four $35 promo cash backs from GT and four $20
ones from MGM. Nothing as usual from MC.

Dolores, VP Pappy and I will be at MGM, then GT for most of the
day Monday. Dinner later somewhere.

PS: Just putting the finishing touches on my "Walk-Around Greektown
Casino" article. A few re-writes and a few spelling and grammar
checks and I'll send it off to Midwest Casino Guide and a few other
sites. I'll let you know when it's up and running.

   Good Luck,
