Winning Touch machines

Here's some information, sent to me by a member, on Winning Touch
machines, which are included in Carson City Nugget's VP inventory:

"Winning Touch machines are manufactured by a company called VLC. They are
strictly touch screen operated; they have no optional buttons to push. Each
machine has ten (10) games from which to choose; 3 slot games, 3 keno games,
and four (4) VP games. The VP games are Jacks or Better (8/5 with 950 for
Royal), Joker Poker (16/7/5/3 with 1000 for Royal), Deuces (4/3/2/2 with 1000
for Royal), and a game called 4 Leaf Poker (8/5/4/3 with 1000 for Royal and
100 for St. Flush, 20 for 4 Aces, 100 for J-K, 50 for all others). In
addition all games pay 2000 for a sequential Royal.

All the above are based on one coin bet. The machines are 20 coin max bet
with full pays at the 5 and above level. Let me know if you have any further
questions."

The manufacturer used to be Powerhouse Technologies, which was
acquired by Anchor Gaming on 6/30/99. IGT then acquired Anchor
Gaming on 12/31/01. What people need to be aware is that VLC is
known for short-paying key hands, for example like trips pay 2 for 1
versus 3 for 1!!! VLC generally operates on the buy a line concept,
i.e. more coins results in higher payoff for some hands such as
STFL, RF, etc.

Again, please read the pay tables carefully!
