Windows XP- Off topic

Often, when you type in a password or similar, Windows asks if you
want Windows to remember it.

If it does not ask, how can you get windows to remember it?

Thanks

If password caching has somehow been disabled completely, you can
re-enable it via a registry hack. See this KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/229940/EN-US/

Note - the article is telling you how to disable p/w caching, but at
the bottom also tells you how to re-enable it.
