Win Poker Simulations

For people who have "Win Poker" or" Frugal Video Poker," you can
run session simulations without going to the casino and risking your
bankroll. I'll use "Win Poker" because I'm more used to it. If you
have not tried this yet, give it a try, you might be surprised at the
results.

  1. Get Win Poker up and running.
  2. Click on:

  3. Player.
  4. Reset all totals to zero.
  5. Yes.
  6. Deal/Draw.
  7. Put in your starting bankroll.
  8. Yes.
  9. Games. (pick one)
10. Options.
11. Autoplay.
12. Put speed to one notch before fastest.
13. Start.
14. Put curser over stop.
15. Watch credit counter.
16. Hit stop when you reach either your win stop point (what you
would like to walk with) or you lose your bankroll.
17. Record wins or losses and number of hands played.
18. Repeat sessions until concluions are reached, if any.
19. Do all games that you are currently playing or thinking of
playing.
20. Each session represents one casino video poker session, but
without putting your money at risk. It should give you some
indication of the volitility of each game.

Take the advice of one of VP Pappy's best friends, Sumner A Ingmark,
who also is a very close friend of gambling expert Al Krigman, who
waxed poetically:

"Those who understand statistics, know the games aren't ruled by
mystics."
                                    --Sumner A Ingmark

"Letting basic strategy determine how you play, cannot guarantee
you'll win, but often saves the day."
                                   --Sumner A Ingmark

Who is Sumner A. Ingmark? I've seen a lot of quotes by him in various
publications, but I know nothing about him.

He is a fellow who writes verse/songs, amusing doggerel actually,
about various games of chance. An example--

      Roulette contenders hardly nettle,
Casinos when they test their mettle,
Foretelling where the ball will settle.

VP Pappy is an Irish "Pooka" (look it up) and I told Al Krigman
that I think Sumner A Ingmark is a Scandinavian one. Every time Al
writes an article (usually using mathematics to prove a point) about
gambling, and he's written hundreds, if not thousands of them, he
always ends it with a short bit of clever and amusing poetry by
Sumner A Ingmark that pertains to the subject.
Al's vast collection of gambling articles can be found at
krigman.casinocitytimes.com.

PS: Tell him that VP Pappy said Hi.

"Winning means never having to say you're broke."
