Now I am still not sure where the adjustments to play could possibly
be. The two hands you mention most likely are the same hold on both
games. Is it possible that the strategy is the same for both games,
although the return is not the same? This might make a good article
subject for the pro players/writers. Linda or Dancer, are you
listening?

I swear Bob D. did a "Anything Wild" you choose article. I could not find it
at Casinogaming.com. But the archives only go back 18 months.

The Wizard has a bit on Anything Wild.

For FPDW you save two connected suited cards/wild card when they are
6-7,7-8,8-9, 9-10 since they are three notches or more away from the wild two's.
Ten-Jack takes you into "three to a wild royal" territory.

For Sevens Wild you run out of room going both directions. 3-2 suited does
not have wildcard interferance, but it is not open ended.

Yes, you are correct. Bob Dancer did write an article in Jan. 2006 on
Anything's Wild. In fact in the article he does show an example of a
change in strategy from deuces wild vs. 7's wild. I never saw this game
in any casino, and I imagine it did not last long. If the word got out
that 2's wild was the best choice, it no longer had any appeal.
