Speaking of vp game speeds, Ive generally found the Station casino
optimum play machines fast to at worst reasonably moderate. Was just
at the Red Rock station 3 days ago and found evrey optimum play was
set to what I would deem comfortably fast. Ive always wondered why
some casinos (hello Casino Monte Lago and Sams Town) have recently
freaked out about having fast fpdw machines while places like the
Stations dont really care? I suspect both having same day
cashback/free play has alot to do with it. Couple that with frequent
5 and 6 times pt. promos that create lucrative opportunities for
pros and semi pros alike. Why dont just simply exclude those games
from the promo? Or if knowlegable players are outright beating those
games, just change the paytable? I agree with an earlier post saying
that being forced to play snail speed machine is not fun. Most of us
quarter players are not trying to make a living off fpdw or any
other game. This is why I no longer make the long trek to CML or
Sams Town even for 5 or 6X days. Id much rather play downdown. Its
closer to me plus theres still decent value. And machine speeds dont
seem to keep casino managment awake at night.
