Why? Everyone who plays VP plays just a single session in life; it
starts with the first game of their life, and it ends with the last
game of their life. Pauses in your play during that single session
are mere intermissions -- whether they are 5 minutes to run to the
bathroom, an hour to get something to eat, 6 to 8 hours to get some
sleep, a week until the next weekend excursion, or a year until the
next trip to Vegas. The machines have no idea how long you're gone.
Maybe no direct reference, but it sure puts a bullseye on
one of his pet theories. Furthermore, your reasoning is sound. This
kind of thinking is a direct, well-stated, attack on his philosophy.

I won't deny that I like to drink, but I never said that I sit there and
get loaded. And I never said that I _ever_ drive after I've been
drinking.
'crashes' might be referring to going to bed for the night. In
this context, I think that is the intended meanin from BS.

Given your professed preferred method of play, I view this
as a reasonable accurate guess and hardly a personal attack. It just
says your method of play rates to lose. I agree. I think this is quite
different from a personal attack, though it is certainly disapproving.

Yep, BS at his worst. No possible refutation based on logic, so he
diverts attention elsewhere. Anyone who argues like this might as well
just admit defeat. Anyone reading it should realize who is right without
even having any clue about the subject matter itself.>
For better or worse, VPHeaven was created to offer a free
forum for all views. I don't go there because it is a wasteland, and
primarily so because of BS, but I certainly feel like such fourms should
exist if there is enough interest to keep the traffic flowing.
