Welcome. As a Veteran elsewhere you have probably observed that it's often
wise to test the temperature and depth of the water before you jump in.
The group in question has, as it's most salient attraction(?), no moderation
whatsoever. It's not for everyone's taste but it's a well publicized feature.
This group does have an active moderator and he has strict guidelines on the
homepage. One of his pet peeves, shared by many, is the practice of including
the entire prior posting when you are replying rather than selecting the
specific text that you would like to address. This keeps the digests received
by many of our members to a reasonable size.
