We have an older Dancer/Zamzow program on our PCs and Dan Paymar's program on our MAC. Pick'Em is so easy to learn that you shouldn't need a program to practice. Also, I hope you know that Royals are rare, a lot rarer than with FPDW, for example, so the 99.95% EV only comes into play if you're going to play a lot of Pick'Em.
I bought a copy of the Scott/Hughes VP program for a friend who was very pleased with it, but I've been so happy with our other two programs that I haven't gotten FVP for us. I really do like Scott's products and enjoy the way the Queen and the Princess write, and I own the Scott/Hughes strategy cards. I even bought her scouting guide which I find I like much more than I expected to, and it has replaced Lenny Frome's book which I used to use to scout casinos.
Although I have Dancer's cards (heck, I have everybody's cards) my favorite for FPDW is Jazbo Burns' strategy card. Even though Dancer gives you three or four levels, the Dancer cards are just too exhaustive for me to use easily, and I know I don't lose much with the Burns' cards which a quite a bit simpler. Paymar's cards are also simpler without giving up much EV. Also I use cards I make from Tom Ski's VPSM which organizes types of hands by color. Hmm, I seem to be rambling, so great EV everyone. Oops, one more thing, if you have a favorite VP game, you owe it to yourself to get a Dancer book on the game if one is available; if it doesn't improve your play, you probably aren't reading it closely enough.
