which game 2 play?

Situation: Both games @ $1/ on same machine w/ royal .5% meter progressive. .5% CB w/ 1% double points 13 hours/week.

Bonus: 99.66% w/ 20.69 variance
DDB: 99.96% w/ 41.96 variance

Assume both games played at pretty close to 100%(currently better @ DDB due to experience). Not unlimited funds particularly @ any one session, but I can handle probably 1 & 1/2 cycles B4 I'd start getting uncomfortable.

My thoughts: I like DDB better & have been playing that, but the variance is a killer when I don't hit kickers etc. So my funds deplete well B4 double points time is over & lots of times when I do hit, I slink off to 25c.
If I started playing the lower variance game, while I give up .3%, the variance should allow me to stay @ the game longer racking up more CB. I don't think the BB is going to change.

I'd like other opinions, if'n U'd like to give them. I'M NOT GIVING UP THIS PLAY HOWEVER, SORRY.

I just set up a new pc and do not have immediate access to software. As the
progressive goes up the EV of the pseudo bonus game will start to catch up
to the DDB game because of strategy changes. Most important is the high pair
(especially aces) versus the 3RF. (I think KQJ and QJT are played as 3RF not
a high pair even at reset in 9-6 DDB. I do not have 10-6 in my area so I
have not looked at it.) By drawing to the 3RF you cannot make quads. In DDB
that can be much more painful than the pseudo bonus. If you have software
you may want to find the breakeven point if it exists.
