Where to Stay?

I've made my reservation on Southworst for the end of March and was
planning on the Palms. I play quarters so likely only put through maybe
$5,000-7,000 per day (guessing). Prefer FPDW or Double Bonus.

I wanted to spend some time at Casino Montelago and stay somewhere with
good games nearby. Since my air from Burbank is only $77, I can certainly
afford to rent a car.

My questions:

1) Where can I stay with good games (Full Pay) close enough to spend time
at Casino Montelago. The other issue is if I spend 1/2 the time away from
my "home" hotel, can I qualify for a free room on only about $3,000 coin drop.

2) Or should I just stay at the Palms, get one night comped, pay $69 for
the second night and cover that with my points?

3) Or should I just pick a hotel where I can get comped for the room, earn
cash back on my play, and have enough full pay quarters to keep me happy?

I'm so confused.

Rick,

It comes down to a matter of personal preference. Many places have
good vp and, unfortunately, you won't be able to experience them all
on one trip. My recommendation would be to make your choice based on
location and the type of property that you would like to stay at
(modest or upscale).

Your best bet for a casino with full pay that is close to Montelago
is probably Fiesta Henderson. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive.
The FH has lots of great games and is okay but it is definitely NOT
an upscale property. You might (I'm not sure) qualify for a room
comp with $3,000 coin in per day. You would definitely want a car if
you stay at the FH because it's (relatively) far from everything.

The Palms is world's apart from the FH in location, mood and in
demographics. The Palms is near the strip and is upscale, trendy and
hip. The Palms also has lots of great games. You would probably not
get a room comp unless you played a lot. You wouldn't need a car if
you stay at the Palms.
