Where to play on Strip - Wynn, Excalibur, PH, ???

I am going to be at a conference at Harrahs next week. I may or may
not give them any play, but I had planned on trying to give Venetian or
Palazzo some serious play before they trashed their VP. I like Wynn
but heard that it takes a lot to get offers there. (I will play up to
$1 single line or quarter multi-line).

I was thinking about playing the 10/6 DDB at Excalibur - can anyone
tell me what kinds of offers you get from MGM and if they are generally
for all of their properties? I am only really familiar with Harrah's
system.

What about Planet Hollywood? I'm happy with 99%-type options like 9/6
Jacks, 8/5 BP & 9/6 DDB.

Play at Excalibur gets you offers for events and rooms only at Excalibur.
The rooms are nice, comparable to Harrah's, but not luxurious. When the
offer comes with a food allowance, you can eat at almost any restaurant in
the MGM system and charge it to your room at Excalibur and it will be comped
up to the amount of your food allowance.

I vote for Wynn IF you are not already a member of their slot club.
They offer good incentives for NEW members and their VP inventory is
somewhat stable compared to the others.

At least for now.

Why schlep up to the Excalibur in 110 degree heat? If the DDB isn't
available there aren't lots of good options. Maybe the 9/6 Bonus
Deluxe. However, one plus of Excalibur is that if you play awhile a
host might approach you and offer a discretionary food comp. They
know they are average compared to the nicer MGM properties and may
want to get you back.

No matter what you choose always go where the games correspond to the
strategies you know best.
