Where is the Best Pick 'Em in Atlantic CIty

Hi all,

This is my first post and I think this is a great group! I wish I
had found it alot sooner.

I am a Mohegan Sun regular but now that they have changed the 7 $1
pick 'em machines that they have to the less advantageous pay
schedule that only pays you 20 as opposed to 25 for "three of a
kind"...I am looking to go back to AC much more often.

Is the Borgata the place to go? And I understand they have multi-
line pick 'em there too? Anywhere else any good? I called Taj
Mahal but they unfortunately have the aforementioned pay schedule.

Thanks!

Regards,
Paul

Unfortunately Borgata also inventories "slim pick'ems" (shorted on the
3k and straight).

There are no full pay multiline pick'ems in AC and at the $1 level
there's only 1 single machine at Bally's. It can be difficult to get
ahold of and is an uncomfortable upright to boot. It's not one to
make a play diet of. Plus, Bally's is definitely a middle of the road
property (no Mohegan Sun, by any definition).

At the $1 level, Jacks is pretty much the game in AC (8/5 BP, 9/7 DB,
or 9/6 DDB if you crave greater variance). Fortunately, cb can make
up much (if not all) of the ER shortfall of Jacks from the no cb
pick'em of MS.

The top three properties I'd suggest are Borgata, Caesars and Taj.
Borgata has the finest amenities but you're largely on your own when
it comes to player services (hosts tend to be perfunctory at best if
you're not putting through BIG dollars ... I largely deem mine a comp
kiosk on legs).

Play at Borgata isn't quite to my liking -- too many unpleasant
encounters (I prefer a more laid back and friendly environment -- by
comparison, I receive more attentive and personable service in all
respects even at Bellagio in LV). But the rooms and restaurants, as
well as other amenities are tops. If you're going to explore AC,
I'd start at Borgata and see if it suits you.

I want to thank everyone to took the time to post
regarding my concerns and questions regarding my
possible trip to Las Vegas in August for our 10th
wedding anniversary. The replies were very long and
thorough, and they answered my questions.

Thanks again,

Nat

Hi. I am a recent arrival as well.

I read somewhere here that the Borgata is starting to trim back their pay
schedules.

I frequent the Taj, and like to play Deuces wild. I am told that Job is
better.
