I wear slacks and a vest to the casino. Both have zippered pockets
for walking around with valubles. I purchased the slacks and
vests, specially for my gambling trips. Inside pockets of the vests
keep uncashed tickets out of sight too.
Which reminds me of another strategy that I forgot to mention with my previous post as well as with the much-earlier discussion of cash protection. Travelsmith (available online) makes pants with zippered security pockets (three, as I recall, definitely one in front and one in back, and I think one inside, off the top of my head). I think only available for men, although it seems most of their clothing line is for women. Second benefit: available in Comfortsizer, an elastic band on each side that makes it great for travel if you tend to change sizes in mid-trip, as I sometimes do! Limited color choices (3 or 4 I think, grey, my favorite, no longer available). Warning, the elastic gives up after several years, long before the pants wear out, leaving you with way-too-loose-to-wear.
Good for gambling, good for travel to other countries and/or urban areas or anywhere that you are more-than-usual anxious about pickpockets, and have more cash than you'd like to carry. Also, in foreign countries, can put your US $$ in one of the pockets until you're ready to use them again.
I think I've seen a few other companies offer similar products.
