When Did VP Machines 1st Hit LV?

I<<<<'m wondering if anyone can tell us where the oldest machines are
still in use? ..... Are there any others?

There are a few ancient quarter machines in Golden Gate that drop coins
on every hand and make a strange whooping sound. I think they are Joker
Wild and Draw Poker.

While these are old, vpvegas, they are not ancient. In the really old
vp days (early 1980's) there were NO deuces wild machines. The only
game available was JOB. The only variations available in those old
non-credit machines were 9/6 or 8/5 JOB or "10's or better".

I am glad that the venerable old EC still has a few of the Downtown
Double Deuces machines in their dwindling inventory. Last week I hit
a lovely $1175 RF on the one opposite the back Lady's Room.

Hi Joe,

Did EH put you up to this? He also says that it "seems like
I take a trip to Vegas every month"!

Actually, I live in the Midwest (Chicago area) and it takes me
3 and a half long hours to fly to LV. Obviously, it's worth
the long trip, to me, or I wouldn't do it so often.

I not only checked out the 8 fullpay machines at Binion's, but
made a $20.00 non-refundable deposit in each one. I felt it
was my duty to do my part to keep these babies in service a few
more weeks.

Regards,
-Babe-
