I've been practicing this game of Videopoker.com and these are my observations.
a. It relies more on luck. There are NO strategy changes needed unlike regular wheel poker. Every 1/46 deals, the bonus round will trigger. That costs you 230 coins extra whether its 3 play or 5 play
b. Its ok to play NSUD/Deuces without penalty since the bonus is ONLY on the draw.
c. The break even point for the bonus round is 230 coins. I have not done the math on the bonus's but from experience it seems to be less than 230. I'm going to guess at this point that the total EV is slightly under the base game but with much higher volatility.
Conclusion ... if 8/5 bonus wheel is available I'd choose that over 8/5 bonus wheel deluxe.
but... I'd pick NSUD wheel deluxe over NSUD wheel.
