That's true-- I forgot to include the value of the free gift (which has
recently been a gift card) in the EV computation. For th $50K tournys
the "gifts" had values about $100 (gift card) to $200+(ex, dvd
player). I'd consider the gift at a 50% contribution to the EV, so the
EV is somewhere about $350 to $450 or so. (I don't think it is
important to count the tourny food since most players already have
access to the lounges). Not too shabby if you live nearby the casino.
