I've started to like to play Pickem poker and was wondering what full
pay is based on? What does full pay pickem pay for a Royal? I'll be at
the VP class Saturday from 2-4 and I hope to learn something about VP.
I'm a novice VP player.

Tim,
Full pay Pick'Em pays 6,000 credits for a royal, 55 for a straight
and 25 for three of a kind.
Less than full pay Pick'Em (or as I call it, Rip-Off Pick'Em) pays
10,000 credits for a royal, 50 for a straight and 20 for three of a
kind.
The rest of the pay scale is the same.
Since you will be getting a ton of three of a kinds and a lot of
straights, those lost credits will cost you a bundle over time.
Enough to drop the percentage of the game down in the 96% range,
from 99.95%. And don't get too excited about that 10,000 royal
pay out. Remember, a royal on Pick'Em occurs about once in every
350,000 hands or so.
So, the next time you see that 10,000 pay out for the royal on
any Pick'Em game....RUN AWAY!

PS: Pick A Pair is similar to Rip-Off Pick'Em, and is found only
at Motor City.
