Hey guys, I'm usually a 9/6 VP player at Showboat in Atlantic City.
I'll be heading to Vegas next week for my first gambling trip of the
year and I'm wondering what my "best bet" will be. I'm on four
nights comped at Flamingo, so I kinda hate to completely stiff
Harrahs play-wise for fear of all my LV offers disappearing. On the
other hand, I surely don't want to play absolutely horrible paytables.
I'm a pretty low roller (I'll have about $1000 over the course of
four nights, but that includes food too... though it'll mostly
consist of LVA coupon buffets and $6.95 Ellis Island steaks.
Figuring about $200-$250 per day in gambling money, what would you do?
Right now the plan is to play a bit of $5-$10 Craps whenever it's
available at Flamingo, and the $0.25 8/5 BP at Harrahs, since that
seems to be the only half-decent quarter-level VP. Is there anything
else I'm missing out that way? Imperial Palace appears to be a Total
Rewards casino and they have 8/5 JoB at a quarter, but the database
isn't real specific, and I definitely don't want my home casino moved
to the IP!
The rest of the trip will be spent downtown where I can actually hope
to win some money on machines with fair odds, but Harrahs has always
been good to me in regards to comps -- a free room with a Strip view
and a few comped meals and I'm very happy -- so I don't want to
abandon them completely and screw up my ADT by not playing there at
all since it's a comped room using an offer.
