What would you have done?

I note that the person who told the original story (Karen) did not specify
what the jackpot was. I was wondering if it was simply a large cash out that
required a hand pay? That would explain why the original person left when he
was paid.

Most of us are used to TITO machines. However, there are lots of machines in
many casinos without TITO. And some that do have it have a cash out limit, so
it defaults to a hand pay if the amount is above that limit.

If they hadn't reset the jackpot, then whatever credits the real winner had
when he hit the jackpot were still there.

After they reset the jackpot, did they cash out the remaining credits? Do
you know what happened to them?

Just curious.

Good point.

But the other thing I was wondering about is the stupid jackpot music. How
could you not want that to stop, and stop ASAP? Maybe it was one of the
machines where the volume is so low, you can barely hear it.
