You really couldn't have said it any better. If you were to add 'constant promotions and the non-stop advertising of such', you would have said it all in my opinion. But few will hear, much less heed. That's why this is an individual's game, and it's up to them alone if they want to enjoy the game and achieve success or not.

The casinos have arranged for a house advantage on amost every game,
and if you include live keno, that advantage may approach 20%.
However, if a player is smart enough to find and play a machine at an
advantage of 1%, he is a pariah, may be barred, and is called a
vulture for swooping in to take advantage of that play.
