What would you do?

Recently when checking my food comps I was surprised to see I had zero
balance. I asked my slot host to tell me the last three charges I had. I found
out two of the three places charged my full comp amount. For instance for a
twelve dollar check I was charged the full twenty five amount of the comp. This
scenario happened 2 out the last 3 times I ate.

I told my host but she was less than thrilled to pursue any action..

What course of action would you take...if any?

Both Fiestas and Stations charge the full amount. That is to say, if I
get a $200 comp to eat and only use $175, I'm out the $25. I find it
better to go eat and then have the waiter call the slot club to deduct
the proper amount from my points.
Sam's Town is the only casino that I personally know of that will
return the unused portion to your account.

I think you will just have to chock this up to a learning experience?

Last year, my host at the Peppermill in Reno told me that unused portions of comps get returned to my account.

Dump the casino.

This is also true of the Silver Legacy in Reno. If you self issue
a $30.00 food comp, and only use $28.00 of it, the $2.00 overage is
returned to your comp account. This system is much more player
friendly than the current method used in LV.

With the current and ongoing rape and pillage of good VP, in downtown
LV, Reno here I come (even more often)! (-:
